January, 2018 Meeting

During our meeting today we discussed:
  • Our new website
  • Goals for 2018
  • Meeting schedule for the State Party

This year the state party is hosting virtual meetings, which will allow for greater participation and attendance.

Because the movie night was such a success, we are looking to host one of these a quarter.

Thanks to all for attending and see you in February!

The Delaware County Green Party meets the first Wednesday of every month at the:

Swarthmore Borough Hall
1st floor, Council Rm.
121 Park Avenue, Swarthmore, PA 19081

Our next meeting will be January 3, 2018

We hope to see you there.

Delco Greens had a Great 2017, Let's Make 2018 Even Better

We'd like to thank you, our friends, for helping make 2017 a great year for grassroots politics and pushing the progressive agenda. With your help, we were very active supporting Greens in PA running for office, and we hosted two very successful events.

We were also actively involved in community driven efforts to bring awareness to the hazards the Mariner East Pipeline presents, and we provided continued support for The Sierra Club's "Ready for 100" campaign, which pushes for 100% clean, renewable energy.

We are proud of the work we accomplished this year and we are looking forward to building on this in 2018.

Come join us for our first meeting of 2018.

Our December Meeting

For our December meeting we watched Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth 2."

We'd like to thank all those that attended. We had a very active discussion at the end that was invigorating. It' great to be in a room exchanging ideas with passionate progressives of the Delco community. We hope to do more film screenings in the future.

2018 is right around the corner. Although in many respects this was a difficult year, it has sparked a light that has been dormant in many. We hope to see you at our next meeting in January, and we can work together to channel that energy into something positive and long-lasting.

We hope that you have a nice holiday season.

Best wishes,

Your friends, the Delco Greens
